Jak donosi portal telepolis.pl w II kwartale 2011 roku na rynek Europy Zachodniej trafiło więcej smartfonów niż tradycyjnych telefonów - wynika z analiz IDC.
W II kwartale na rynek zachodnioeuropejski trafić miało ogółem 42,2 mln telefonów komórkowych. 21,8 mln z nich, czyli 51,7% ogółu, stanowić miały smartfony. Oznacza to wzrost w stosunku do danych sprzed roku o 48%. Dla odmiany, tradycyjne telefony zanotowały spadek o 29%.
